Meeting-room layout featuring a Lurpes conference table. Chairs and equipment are illustrative; chair quantities and designs depend on the purchased set.

For the Lurpes Rectangular Conference Table with Cable Management & Dual-Tone, the 94-inch configuration is offered with 8 chairs, the 142- and 157-inch configurations with 10 chairs, and the 236-inch configuration with 14 chairs. Choose between them by checking the room and working space around each chair—not by headcount alone.

A meeting room needs to work when people arrive, open laptops, move their chairs and leave. Buying the largest table that fits between the walls can make every one of those tasks harder. The more useful question is: which configuration serves your regular meetings while leaving the room usable?

This guide compares four listed configurations within one Lurpes table family. Dimensions and bundle contents come from the catalog. The room-fit examples are planning calculations, not a claim that every room of a given size will accommodate the set.

Which configuration would we choose?

The 94-inch set for a smaller dedicated meeting room

The 94 × 47-inch table is the shortest option in this comparison and is listed as a table-plus-eight-chair set. Consider it when eight chairs meet your regular requirement and you want to preserve as much room as possible outside the table footprint.

Before deciding, ask for the included chair dimensions and a suggested seating arrangement. Check table legs and supports against those chair positions. The number of supplied chairs does not tell you how much space each person will have for a laptop and an open notebook.

The 142-inch set for ten-chair meetings

The 142 × 51-inch option comes with ten chairs in the listed set. It is worth shortlisting when your regular meeting group needs more places than the eight-chair configuration and the room can accommodate the additional length.

Think about the meeting format as well as the count. A discussion with notebooks uses the surface differently from a workshop with laptops, documents and shared samples. Place your usual equipment on a measured outline before settling on the size.

The 157-inch set when the same ten chairs need a longer surface

Both the 142- and 157-inch configurations list ten chairs and a 51-inch table width. The 157-inch table adds 15 inches of length. In the examples above, it costs $144 more.

This is a useful comparison if your room has spare length and your team regularly spreads out papers or project materials. More table length does not automatically mean that every seating position gains the same usable space, so verify the table support layout and chair arrangement too.

The 236-inch set for a large meeting or boardroom layout

The 236 × 59-inch configuration is listed with fourteen chairs. The table alone is 19 feet 8 inches long, before chair movement, circulation or presentation space is added.

Shortlist this option only after drawing the full room. Check where a presenter stands, how people reach the far seats and whether doors, screens or storage reduce the usable floor area. For project orders, request a configuration review through Lurpes Business Enquiries.

How to calculate a starting room footprint

Use two simple calculations:

Planning length = table length + allowance at both ends.
Planning width = table width + allowance along both sides.

Your allowances must account for the actual chair depth, pull-back movement and the circulation your room needs. They also depend on doors, equipment and the requirements of the project.

For example, if you choose an illustrative 42-inch allowance on each side of a 142 × 51-inch table, the calculation is 142 + 84 = 226 inches long and 51 + 84 = 135 inches wide. That is an 18-foot-10-inch by 11-foot-3-inch planning rectangle.

The 42-inch figure is an example input, not a minimum clearance or a compliance recommendation. It excludes extra space for a screen, presenter, storage and door swing. Replace it with the allowances appropriate to your room and chairs.

What the cable-management description means

The product description lists a dedicated cable route, a steel support frame and particle-board construction. A cable route helps organize wires; it does not by itself confirm included power outlets, chargers or electrical equipment.

Plan how cables reach the table from the room’s power and data connections. Ask for the selected configuration’s cable access details before arranging floor connections or purchasing conference-room equipment.

Conference table questions

Is this a table-only price or a set price?

The four variants compared here explicitly list the conference table plus 8, 10 or 14 chairs. Always match the style selector to the set you intend to purchase.

Why do two different lengths both include ten chairs?

Bundle count and table length are separate configuration details. In this family, both the 142- and 157-inch options are sold with ten chairs; choose based on the room and the surface area your meetings use.

Can I treat the room calculation as an installation plan?

No. It is a first comparison of floor area. Confirm chair measurements, support positions, circulation, access and project requirements before ordering.

What should I know about delivery?

The published standard total is 47–71 business days including processing. Standard delivery is curbside or doorstep, and assembly is required. Arrange the people, access and installation time your project needs; review the shipping policy and return policy.
